A Thousand Words?

July 23, 2012 by Cédric in Uncategorized

They say a picture is worth one thousand words. But what if that is not enough? As our time in Mauritius ticks away and the deadline for my ELI Africa documentary looms closer and closer, I start to wonder if one thousand words are enough. A documentary is essentially a series of fast moving pictures, so how many words will my documentary will hold? Will these words be the right words? Powerful words that can move people to action and control an audience’s emotions? Will these words be able to convey my experiences at ELI Africa? Will these words do justice to the children who we have set out to help? I guess you will have to be the judge. Stay tuned for the online launch of the ELI Documentary…
