On The Route To A Better Tomorrow!

January 11, 2015 by Pravisan in Experiential Learning Initiative

Education plays an important role in the life of man. As Malala Yousafzai rightly said, “One child, one teacher, one pen and one book can change the world.” Education ensures equality, eliminates social difference and eradicates poverty. Besides, when someone is educated, his confidence level is increased and NOBODY can prevent him from changing his destiny.

ELI Africa understands the importance of education and has since its inception worked diligently to ensure equitable access to education to underprivileged youth through its ELI Corps Program. ELI Africa does not only teach school lessons but also promotes experiential learning. A plethora of activities are held to ensure that students benefit from a holistic education which prepares them for life. The Do It Yourself Summer Program, launched in December, has initiated students to cooking and you people out there are not oblivious to the importance of nurturing some cooking skills! At ELI Africa we connect with our students, encourage them to overcome their capabilities and persuade them to dream big to achieve big!

Tomorrow is the beginning of the 2015 school year and students should make the most of this year by not only excelling at school but by also using their acquired knowledge to make a difference in their community.

Together, let’s work hard today for a better tomorrow! 🙂
