ELI Africa has long since been working towards the conservation of endemic plants in Mauritius.  With the different planting events that have been organized every year, we have been able to plant up to more than 1500 endemic plants in our ELI Forest.

We are now very excited to announce that the Mauritius Forestry Service has agreed to provide us with 14 acres of land found at Mont Vert, Curepipe, where we intend to reforest the area with more endemic plants, thus creating another ELI Forest!

With new campaigns and ideas, we intend to achieve our goal of planting over 2500 endemic plants for the year 2017-2018.
