Madam Roseline Veerasamy, aged 57, has been working for Eli Corps right at the opening itself in February 2016. Eli kids and volunteers remember her as a very genuine and caring teacher as well as a lady who devoted her time and love to the education and welfare of the children at Eli School Kennedy. She was employed mainly as a helper till January 2017. Later, when a main teacher left, she was promoted as assistant teacher since her devotion was obvious. She has always been helping in the creative art and handicraft with the children.Unfortunately, she had to leave in July 2017 due to sickness. She recently left us leaving behind countless loving memories. The Eli family is forever grateful to her and we extend our deepest sympathy to her family.
Miss Roseline Veerasamy left us on January 11th of 2018, leaving to the children at ELI schools a legacy of prosperity. Through her hard work and devotion, she helped create a world where all children can prosper and have equal opportunities. At ELI Africa, we believe that her legacy will live on after her death, and her passion and volunteering will continue to inspire people in Mauritius. Miss Roseline will be a memory for many of us especially the dear children of Eli School.
The whole ELI Africa family extends its heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Mrs. Roseline Veerasamy. She remains ingrained in our memory, and ELI Africa will definitely continue her long endeavor in creating a better world for everyone and helping every child prosper through education.
