Let us all ask ourselves a question: How much do we care for our dogs? The answer to this question may be yes for you, but is it the same for others?
Do others bother that much about the fate of our dogs?
Recently, there has been a case in St-Martin, Bel-Ombre where a dog was killed mercilessly with a gun. Hitherto, such barbaric act still occur and animals are once more victims of man’s anger, boredom and frustration.
Isn’t it the right time to take serious actions?
The sad reality is that many people disregard the rights animals are supposed to have, that is, the right to life, the right to freedom, the right to protection against cruelty and the right to humane treatment. While we are comfortable in our home, millions of animals are being butchered, tortured and experimented on.
We tend to forget that each and every animal on Earth has as much right to be here as we do.
Often, we encourage the idea of speciesism and think that animals should be treated as inferior creatures.
If we do not stand up for these animals now, then who will?
Let us all take a pledge to bring a change to this despicable situation!
We should not be indifferent to their unseen misery.
