ELI STEM

Socioeconomic stability and happiness are inherently linked to the progress of science and technology worldwide. Thus, the era that we are living in today has been deemed as the best one to live in so far, regardless of one’s relative wealth. That said, people are not happy, they feel that life has become a blur. Daily routine has taken over our passion. We believe that the way to break this repetitive reality of modern society is to bring back the innovative use of science.

Eli STEM aims to increase the quality of life in Mauritius, to give people something to be excited about, and then make sure that the future generation get involve by bringing innovations and maintaining this trend that will hopefully one day eradicate the current problems in Mauritius which are poverty, drugs and corruption. A young, innovative and self-sustaining population will not allow crooks, greedy and selfish people to lead the country and will definitely possess better problem solving skills and scientific reasoning.

The first step is a show of science, a way to inspire young and old alike. In a country where innovative minds have to set aside their dreams to rather conform to the monotony of society, we want to be the ones paving the path for others to realize that they have what it takes to bring about change.

New and exciting things are soon to come!
