Just a quick update on some really exciting things that happened today: the meeting Vedant and I had today exceeded all of our expectations. We met with one of the top officials in the Mauritian government, and he was exceedingly responsive to all of the ideas we presented to him.
Well, tomorrow is a big day for the Fellows, as we’ll be officially opening the doors of the ELI Africa Education Center to the general public. We’ve spent the past several days working at the center—moving furniture, painting walls, and doing general busywork to prepare the center for the opening.
